On November 13–16, 2012 the 18^th International Industrial Exhibition “MetalExpo-2012” will take place in Moscow in the territory of All-Russia Exhibition Centre.

On September 5–7 in Krasnoyarsk the 4^th International Congress and Exhibition "Nonferrous metals-2012" was held, in which JSC “BKO” participated. The Congress was held under support of the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

On June 13–16 the 14^th International Exhibition of Glass Production, Technologies and Equipment for Glass Manufacturing and Processing took place in the Central exhibition complex “Expocentre”, Moscow.

The quality management system of proppants production has been certified for conformance to the requirements of International Standards of API Q 1 "Specification for quality programs for the petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries" of the American Petroleum Institute, and ISO / TS 29001 "Petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries. Sector-specific quality management systems.

On May 21–24, 2012 the seminar "Refractories and Refractory Linings of Furnace Units of Cement Companies" took place in Borovichi. This event was held in cooperation with LLC “Cemclub” on the site of JSC “BRP”.

In order to upgrade the efficiency of proppants production, the OShGP 1 (Refractory fireclay granulated powders) size-grading sector was upgraded and the tube mill No. 6 of OShGP 2 (Refractory fireclay granulated powders) sector was put into service.

During modernization of production at JSC “BKO”, the site for production of faced aluminosilicate (pitched) proppants of the following grades was put into service: BORPROP RCP R1- guaranteed consolidation (adhesion) at temperature from 90ºС and BORPROP RCP R2- guaranteed consolidation (adhesion) at temperature from 50ºС.

On March 29-30, 2012, the 7^th International conference of refractory workers and metallurgists took place in Moscow, in Russian Academy of Public Administration under the jurisdiction of the President of Russian Federation.

On March 13–15 the exhibition “Metallurgy. Foundry engineering” took place in St. Petersburg, in the territory of “Lenexpo” Exhibition Complex, as part of St. Petersburg Industrial Exposition. JSC “BRP” traditionally takes part in this event.
